A wonderful friend and colleague for 30 years. Someone of great breath of interest, with a lovely dry sense of humour, very wise, one of the best shipping lawyers of his time but also someone with a deep hinterland. Often, Patrick didn’t say a huge amount, but when he did, people listened, and he was a very loyal friend. The vibrant Greek office, which he grew from a two-person enterprise with Natassa when we opened in 1994 is a monument to his achievement. It is hard to believe that he is no longer with us.
