It is with immense sadness that we share news of the death of our dear friend and colleague, Patrick Hawkins, head of our Greek office. Patrick suffered a serious heart attack in July and, tragically, did not recover.

Patrick first joined Hill Dickinson in Liverpool in 1987 as an articled clerk and relocated to Greece on qualification, where he met and married Vicky. In 1993 he became the founding partner of the Greek office of Hill Taylor Dickinson but in 2006 re-joined the firm on HTD’s merger with Hill Dickinson. Patrick was a renowned leader in the Greek maritime legal sector, beloved and respected by clients and opponent alike. Our thoughts at this time are with Vicky, his two daughters Myrto and Thalia, his brother Mike and all members of his family.
